Something in My Eye

OK, so here goes.

I'm shutting down this photo blog. I've already got a Flickr account that more than does the trick, so having this around is a bit superfluous.

If you've been visiting this blog, thanks. I know that there weren't a great many of you, but still I appreciate the hits. However, I am currently and for the near future far too busy to post any pictures any time soon. If I do, they'll be posted at Flickr. Just click on the Flickr banner over at my blog.

Mal finds a warm spot: the straw hat I bought in Todos Santos.

The six little rugrats have made the office their own. Being a compete and total nerd, I named them after Serenity characters. The one who resembles Alia is Mal. The two grey kittens are River and Simon. The calicos are Inara, Zoe, and Kaylee. And, yes, they act just like their namesakes.

They're now at the size where they float around the room faster than I can keep with them. I haven't stepped on any of them yet, but I have knocked a few silly while trying to move around. Their new favorite way of reminding me that it is now their room is to wait until I've parked myself at the computer and then either bite my feet or climb my legs to sit in my lap. Not a problem if I'm wearing denim, but if I have nice pants on, it's a problem.

I can't wait until they decide to start sleeping in my bed. They've already found their way up the mattress, so it is just a matter of time before I roll over in my sleep and hear a sharp MEOW!
